The OVCC (Ottawa Valley Crafts and Collectibles Guild) recently launched the "OVCC Marketplace", a Facebook page for the sale/auction of handmade artisan items produced exclusively by its members of the OVCC.

Can't make it to their shows? No problem - you can now enjoy shopping locally handmade online - 24/7, year-round - from the convenience of your home. New items are listed on a daily basis so make sure to check often!

Art in Fashion 613 returns!

Art in Fashion 613, Ottawa's trendy fashion show/night market featuring some of the best fashion designers and artisans the area has to offer returns to the Capital on Saturday, October 15.

Creative director/fashion designer Kym Brown (Bombshell Revival Designs) has once again partnered with CreativeOttawa.com to bring you a visual spectacle the likes of which haven't been seen in the city since the first AIF 613 that took place in 2015.

Come and enjoy the fashion show, shopping, artists, food, drinks and music from 6 pm until midnight - or later if the party is really hopping! Pick your favourite outfit of the catwalk and buy it on the spot!

The Parkdale Market was the second market established in Ottawa and remains a public market to this day. Since it launched in 1924 the Parkdale Market has been located in the Hintonburg area.
